The stuff I read so far suggest that there is a lot of money being made, which raises questions. They have servers in several countries which would be expected most clouds have multiple locations. There was a suggestion that insiders knew about and uploaded infringing content. Also some suggestions that they might have been a little lax in removing content when a request arrived. Some of the new storage tech will have multiple links to the same file if there were several copies uploaded, when this was an infringing file they only removed the requested link not the file or the other links.
They have several hurdles to get over, first is extradition copyright is not a criminal act in NZ
